The hill behind Milliken Library is a favourite spot for many hikers and nearby residents, yet there is no seating at the top. Maybe sitting on the grass is a good idea, but shelter provides refuge from the elements.
This project is to give people on foot, athletes, and students of nearby schools a shelter to rest. It sits among the stones on the top of the hill, and the material uses marble to make it as natural as the surrounding stones.
Location
This shelter is located in a hill nearby a community center with public facilities include a swimming pool, library and some restaurants. There is also a public high school next to it, students are regular visitors here.
